Hip to Gable Loft Conversion

A new hip-to-gable loft conversion has started on a semi-detached property in Hall Green, Birmingham to create one bedroom. Raising the hip to form a new gable will enable the new loft stairs to rise above the existing staircase. A window to the new gable will give the new staircase plenty of natural light. Two Velux windows will be fitted to the front and rear roof slope and two storage floors will be added to the remaining space under the eaves.
